This item is made from 15 mm PVC foam board which is a lightweight material lighter than wood. We prefer this material as it will cause less damage if dropped or thrown by a child.

Our PVC foam boards are very light weight compared to MDF wood therefore they are very safe for children. We only use water based odour free acrylic paints for the hand painted parts.
